Indiana Veterans Outreach

We assist at risk Veterans in the Indiana community through a variety of programs.

About and Mission

The mission of Indiana Veterans Outreach is to provide awareness and/or assistance through a network of contacts such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, other nonprofits with social services, and more in Indiana.

Services provided:

1. Use of resources and partnerships to help with housing, medical, jobs, food, financial, income tax prep, education benefits and other activities to improve a veteran’s quality of life.

2.Connect with veterans in awareness of alternatives to combat PTSD, TBI, suicide prevention and more.

Support Group

If you are looking for someone to talk to, meet other veterans or even some feedback on a problem, this group is for you. You can even sit on the sidelines and listen to what is on other veterans minds.

If you are new to the group, you must bring a copy of your DD-214 and a picture ID to be able to join in. After two meetings, you will then be issued a "Verified Veteran ID Badge" to enter future meetings.

This is a casual, hassle free, peer-to-peer, open forum group where we talk about whatever is on everyone's mind. Hot coffee, snacks, bottled water and soft drinks are provided.

Our 'Veterans Peer Support Group" meets every Friday Night at our Veterans office located near Fort Harrison in Lawrence, Indiana. Average in attendance is roughly 30-45 with 25-30 verified Veterans
