Boots on the Ground Vets Run

Benefiting the Fergus Falls Veterans Home.

The Boots on the Ground Veterans Motorcycle Fun Run was formally started in 2014 as the Friends of the Veteran’s Home Vet’s Motorcycle Fun Run. In 2015 we decided to change the name to Boots on the Ground Veterans Motorcycle Fun Run to honor our veterans at the Minnesota Veteran’s Home in Fergus Falls. We are the only motorcycle fun run for this home. Proceeds from the day of our run are given to the Recreation Department at the home to help provide supper outings for the veterans to places such as the Legion, VFW, Elk’s Point, Eagles and for breakfast outings at The Big Chief Truck Stop and Family Diner. The run also funds recreational outings to the Red Hawks Game, the Fargo Air Show, fishing outings, Friday nights at the I94 Race Track, bingo at the home, music and other activities within the home.
